Owen has been a carp fisherman for over 30 years and is a total carp addict. His favourite aspect of the sport is the anticipation. Waiting for the bite that could be from 'the one' once those rods are in position.

His preferred method is a static boilie approach but he is happy to adapt if needs must.

Owen has fished many of the top venues around Essex but his favourite venue is Warmwell where he fished in his younger days when it was home to some of the largest carp in the land.
